How you can help

In Australia, 99% of us will visit an emergency department during our lifetime.

Emergency medicine is the busiest frontline healthcare field, providing 24-hour care, 365 days of the year to people who are seriously injured or ill and need immediate treatment. Emergency healthcare is also the most underfunded medical research specialty area in Australia.

Fortunately, there are many ways you can help change this situation and improve patient care. In supporting EMF, you can also have the satisfaction of knowing that within two years, the majority of research we fund is impacting the way Australians are cared for in a medical emergency.

Option 1: Raise awareness about emergency medicine research by following us on social media.
Option 2: Keep in touch with us by signing up for our newsletter.
Option 3: Make a tax-deductible donation to help fund research.
Option 4: Ask your friends to support emergency medicine research through in memorium and tribute gifts, donations in lieu of gifts or flowers is a wonderful way to make a real difference in memory or in tribute to someone special.
Option 5: Consider including EMF in your Will as a wonderful legacy to those you leave behind.
Option 6: Talk to us about how your  organisation can co-fund a research program or specific grant.
