EMF Annual Report 2023

We are delighted to share EMF’s Annual Report 2022-2023! In the past financial year, EMF was pleased to see a resurgence in research activity and renewed energy among Queensland emergency clinicians to find ways to streamline treatment, improve patient outcomes and alleviate pressure on the health system.
Some of the accounts highlighted in this year’s report include:
- Emergency nurses supported by EMF on their pathway to become independent and prolific researchers
- Clinicians seeking to provide proactive care for mental health patients and reduce their need to attend the ED in a crisis
- EMF support for emergency clinicians in regional, rural and remote locations to address geographical health inequities
- Completed research projects with outcomes that translate into real and practical benefits.
