Work for EMF

The Emergency Medicine Foundation (EMF) is seeking one new Research Committee member through an Expression of Interest process.

The Research Committee provides the EMF Board with innovative, robust strategic advice on issues affecting research and its research program, and ensures clinician, academic and community input is gained and included in the decision-making processes for all strategic research matters. The committee’s Terms of Reference can be found here.

The Research Committee is looking for an additional member with the following experience and qualifications:

  • Registered nurse currently practising clinically in the emergency department or pre-hospital environment
  • Extensive experience and success in conducting research, preferably in the emergency healthcare environment
  • Experience in peer review of grant applications

The Research Committee meets three times a year, generally via Zoom, and participates in EMF’s annual strategic Health roundtable. There are no payments for performance of committee duties.

If you have the required experience and qualifications and are interested in helping EMF drive and support multi-disciplinary emergency medicine research and its translation, please email the completed EOI form below to grants@emfoundation.org.au by 1st March 2021.
