Emerge grants

The purpose of the Emerge grant scheme is to encourage emergency healthcare clinicians who are beginning their research journey to develop research skills by conducting a small project under the guidance of a mentor.

Emerge grants provide up to $10,000 for research projects that can be completed within 12 months. These grants are to provide research training and funding to new researchers seeking to undertake a small research project that addresses the Queensland Research Program’s aims.

Step 2: prepare the application

You can use this template to build your grant application prior to submitting via our grant management platform, SmartyGrants.

Please note SmartyGrants is not Word compatible therefore the online grant application will need to be populated by copying the content into the online form.

Step 3: lodge the application
Closing date: 7 May
