Transforming Emergency Healthcare

Most people need to attend a hospital emergency department at least once in a lifetime, placing their lives into the hands of emergency clinicians at a time when they are most vulnerable.

During a medical emergency, patients need to be able to trust that the clinical care they receive is the best available, and that it is based on the most up-to-date information.

That is why the Emergency Medicine Foundation invests in generating evidence-based knowledge that can be translated into clinical practice. The research we support underpins the foundations upon which we build new and improved systems and processes for emergency healthcare.

In this video, hear from our Board and some of the clinician-researchers we support why this work is so important.
