FEISTY study launches

A Queensland clinical trial, known as FEISTY, is now underway that could lead to better treatments for severely injured trauma patients. The research team is investigating the use of fibrinogen early in the treatment of severe trauma.

EMF is co-funding the study, which is running across four major trauma centres in Queensland. The grant EMF awarded to the study was fully funded by Queensland Health.
