Vote for best emergency medicine researcher: People’s choice award

In partnership with Virgin Australia, EMF is seeking nominations for an individual who has done the most to advance emergency medicine care in Australia through research. The winning nomination will receive a Platinum Lounge Membership courtesy of Virgin Australia! The runner-up will win a Gold Lounge Membership. Both winners will be announced on Day 2 of EMF’s 10-year symposium.

Here are the nomination criteria:

  1. Demonstrated excellence in emergency medicine research (leading to the provision of improved emergency medicine services or patient care)
  2. Demonstrated leadership, innovation or  creativity in emergency medicine research
  3. Recognised leader in the emergency medicine research community
  4. Contributed significantly to the development of an emergency medicine research culture in Australia, including  research networks, collaboration and research funding

The People’s Choice award is open to health professionals (doctors, nurses, allied health) and/or academics. Nominees must be either Australian or based in Australia.

Please note, EMF will only record your vote for one person once. However, you can vote for more than one individual.

The winners will be announced at lunchtime on Friday 25 August 2017 at the EMF Research Symposium.
