We’re inviting applications for a new Research Committee member to help guide the strategic direction of emergency medicine research and support research that improves care for patients experiencing medical emergencies.
The Research Committee provides independent advice to the EMF Board on strategic research priorities, funding programs and emerging issues affecting emergency medicine research. Its members bring clinical, academic and community perspectives to help ensure EMF continues to invest in research with the greatest potential to improve patient care.
As a committee member, you’ll help shape EMF’s research priorities, provide strategic advice on research initiatives and help strengthen emergency medicine research across Australia.
The committee meets three times each year, generally via Zoom.
Committee members are not remunerated and are not eligible to apply for EMF funding as a Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator while serving on the committee.
Expressions of Interest close 24 August 2026.
