The Emergency Medicine Foundation, in partnership with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine, is commissioning a national economic evaluation of the impact and return on investment of emergency medicine research.

This independent evaluation will examine the real-world economic value of emergency care research across Australia, including the system costs of access block and ambulance ramping, alongside the benefits of research-informed, evidence-based improvements.

We are inviting experienced health economists, research teams, and academic institutions to submit proposals to deliver a high-impact, policy-relevant report that will inform future investment, advocacy, and system planning in emergency care.
