Health economics

EMF is increasingly encouraging emergency medicine research teams to include a health economist as a co-investigator on grant applications.

Health economics is an important element to include in emergency medicine research projects. The data generated is essential for the translation and clinical adaption of health research and is critical for hospitals, the PBS and governments.

Health economists interested in becoming involved in emergency medicine research can contact EMF. We are compiling a panel of health economists and their research interests to make it easier for us to match economists with clinical researchers.
